Here and There

This day was a big one. We had a tour guide who took us first through the city and saw most of the iconic building gardens and sights. We started with the Nové Město area seeing iconic landmarks and some of the oldest churches in the world including the Church of our Lady of the Snows which is a Catholic Church from 1350. Then we headed to Old Town square and saw the medieval astronomical clock on the old town hall made in 1410. Insane. Then trekked up to Prague castle which was absolutely massive and beautiful. It’s from the 9th century and housed centuries worth of rulers from Kings of Bohemia, to the Holy Roman Emperors. From there we were whooped and needed some lunch so our guide took us to a traditional Czech spot where Sarah and I proceeded to order the whole menu and it was incredible. Then being the well rounded college students we are, the night wasn’t over and we headed to We the people which became a little bit of a regular for us where we got the worlds biggest Aperol Spritz and then another bar where they hit you over your head with a baseball bat? From there we finished off the night with an ice bar where they serve you your cocktail in a cube of ice and the whole room, furniture, and bar are all made of solid ice.
