Life in Normandy allowed us to spread out and slow down a bit. Week one in Paris feels like vacation but week two when you start to run out of clean clothes and can’t keep spending buckets of cash a day to eat, you start to try to assimilate and adjust to your local surroundings. Having apartments in Normandy meant kitchens and grocery shopping! Each of the groups in the three apartments took a night to claim as their cook night and made dinner for the whole group. The girls and I made salmon/chicken Asian bowls. We got fish and veggies from a local farmers market. It was so good and fresh. Super yum. We did laundry at a local laundry mat after exchanging cash and that was so exciting to have clean clothes. The slower pace was welcome after busy Paris life. Let’s go to London!
