Sacré-Cœur 5/19/2026

Standing at Sacré-Cœur after hauling myself up what felt like 800 steps counted as my StairMaster workout for the day. The view over Paris was incredible, but staying for Mass in French with a couple other Catholic students on my study abroad trip was honestly the highlight. Built after a period of major political unrest in France as a symbol of faith and renewal, the church carried so much history while still feeling peaceful and personal. Taking communion there and having a moment of reflection during such a hectic trip in such a beautiful place felt surreal in the best way.
